Tomohito Ozeki will have his first runner in the G1 Arima Kinen with Through Seven Seas, with Kenichi Ikezoe set to take the ride. He commented, "Nakayama Racecourse is my home ground so I am very happy that I finally have a runner in this race."

Trainer Ozeki was born and grew up near Nakayama Racecourse and he reflected with a big smile, "The first Arima Kinen I watched in person was in 1984 when Symboli Rudolf won. It was a good time."

Through Seven Seas has a good record at Nakayama Racecourse with four wins from seven starts. Trainer Ozeki expressed his confidence about her at Nakayama, saying: "Mental control will be key in this race as 2500m is tricky. I am sure that Kenichi Ikezoe knows this race well as he won four times so he has my trust."
