Sent-off favourite, Win Marvel obliged under Kohei Matsuyama to win the G3 Hankyu Hai at Hanshin Racecourse. Asakara King finished a nose behind the winner and Sunrise Ronaldo came home in third, a neck behind Asakara King. The winning time was 1:21.2.

Win Marvel is a son of I'll Have Another out of Cosmo Marvelous, by Fuji Kiseki. This is his second consecutive graded stakes title win in a row after winning the G2 Hanshin Cup last time out. Win Marvel also clinched a spot in the G1 Takamatsunomiya Kinen with this victory.
