Senor Buscador and Ushba Tesoro concluded the Saudi Cup Day with a thrilling finish in the G1 Saudi Cup. Senor Buscador held off the late challenge made by Ushba Tesoro and finished a nose-ahead to win the Saudi Cup.

Yuga Kawada who rode Ushba Tesoro commented "It was an amazing race. We tried our best to win it all." Trainer Takagi added, "Wish we won that race but I learned many things through this trip. I could bring horses to this level by my way of training and looking forward to a trip to Dubai with Ushba Tesoro".

Derma Sotogake was an unexpected underperformer in the Saudi Cup finishing fifth. Jockey Christophe Lemaire reflected "He was in a good condition but he could not stay until the end as this was his first race coming back from the long break." Trainer Otonashi added, "He will be better in Dubai."
