G1 Arima Kinen winner Do Deuce conducted a final fast track work in Japan ahead of his trip to the UAE for the G1 Dubai Turf. He clocked 53.0 seconds for the final four furlongs and 12.0 seconds for the final furlong. Trainer Yasuo Tomomichi commented: "We did not want to overwork him so I told the rider to go a steady pace. He is more forward-going as the intensity of track work increases. He has been great since coming back from the pasture in Hokkaido."

Danon Beluga, who finished second in the last year's Dubai Turf, also conducted a final piece of track work in Japan. He clocked 84.8 seconds for the final six furlongs and 11.2 seconds for the final furlong. Trainer Noriyuki Hori reflected: "He accelerated by himself without being asked to do so. He is physically and mentally stronger after last year's trip to UAE. He is in good shape."

Justin Palace is also ready to bounce back from his fourth-place finish in the G1 Arima Kinen last time out. He conducted his final track work on a slope course ahead of his run in the G1 Dubai Sheema Classic and trainer Haruki Sugiyama commented: "He has been a bit keen for the first and second day into the quarantine but he is okay now. He is relaxed and well-balanced physically. He tends to lose more weight than average horses during long trips so I am curious to see how much he is going to lose."
