On the 16th at Tokyo Racecourse, jockey Keita Tosaki achieved his 1,500th career win in the JRA with a victory on Omega Wink in Race 10. This milestone makes him the 21st jockey in history and the 9th active jockey to reach this milestone, which includes 73 graded stakes wins, 12 of which are G1 victories.

Starting the day on 1,498 wins, Tosaki finished second in both Race 4 and Race 5. He then secured a win in Race 8, finished sixth in Race 9, and finally guided the second favourite to victory in Race 10. During the award ceremony, Tosaki, celebrated by his peers, expressed his gratitude and happiness, saying, "With just two wins to go, I was hoping to achieve it today despite the many second-placed efforts. I am very pleased to have reached 1,500 wins. It is the result of steadily working towards each win, and I am glad it has culminated in this way. I also want to thank the fans for their constant support, which has been a significant factor in achieving some many wins."
