The Triple Crown award is earned by the winner of all three colt’s Classics in the JRA. The Satsuki Sho (Japanese 2000 Guineas), Tokyo Yushun (Japanese Derby) and Kikuka Sho (Japanese St.Leger).

Eight horses have accomplished the feat in JRA history: Saint Lite (1941), Shinzan (1964), Mr. C. B. (1983), Symboli Rudolf (1984), Narita Brian (1994), Deep Impact (2005), Orfevre (2011), Contrail (2020).
