Jantar Mantar, with Yuga Kawada on board, won Sunday's G1 NHK Mile Cup at Tokyo Racecourse. Ascoli Piceno finished second, two-and-a-half lengths behind the winner, and Logi Leon came home in third a neck behind Ascoli Piceno. The winning time was 1:32.4.

Jantar Mantar is a son of Palace Malice out of India Mantuana, by Wilburn. He became the unbeaten G1 Asahi Hai Futurity Stakes winner during his two-year-old season and placed third in the G1 Satsuki Sho. This is his first mile G1 title.
