Barrier numbers announced for the G1 Takarazuka Kinen

The barrier numbers for the 65th G1 Takarazuka Kinen, set to be held on June 23 at Kyoto Racecourse, were announced on the 20th.

Do Deuce, last year's G1 Japanese Derby winner and victor of the 2022 G1 Arima Kinen, will start from barrier 4.

Justin Palace, who finished third last year and the winner of the G1 Tenno Sho (Spring) at Kyoto, will start from barrier 2. Rousham Park, a runner-up in the G1 Osaka Hai, has drawn barrier 10.

Other notable entries include Bellagio Opera, winner of the Osaka Hai, starting from barrier 3, Blow the Horn, who finished second in the Tenno Sho (Spring), starting from barrier 12, and Struve, who is on a two-race winning streak in graded stakes, starting from barrier 1.
