Win Marilyn and Win Carnelian, who will take on the GI Dubai Sheema Classic and GII Godolphin Mile respectively, worked together on the woodchip course at Miho training center. Jockey Junji Shimada was aboard Win Marylin, though he will be replaced by Damian Lane in the race, and Kosei Miura rode Win Carnelian, who finished a half-length in front after catching Win Marilyn at the home turn.
Miura commented confidently, "He has to do his heavy work here instead of in Dubai. It was strong work, and it was good that he finished so well. He will head to the race in good condition."
Win Marylin's trainer Takahisa Tezuka commented, "Win Carnalian's galloped particularly well. Marylin had a good workout too, and showed strong spirit. Her temperament is good and she's ready to join Equinox in the quarantine stable. It is her second time in quarantine, so she should handle it well."
