Through Seven Seas had the help of a master hand in Christophe Lemaire as she claimed her first stakes win on Saturday. Beginning her race from midfield, she moved up without pressure to the front rounding the home turn and none of her rivals were able to catch her in the final furlong. It was her fifth attempt at graded stakes level, and it worked out perfectly for connections.

In his post-race interview, Lemaire said: "She responded perfectly in the final stretch. She travelled in a good rhythm, striding well and was relaxed. It was easier than I thought," he added with a big smile.

Storia stepped up her game from last time out and finished second, whilst Satono Cecil finished third and the favourite Art House, with a top weights of 57kg, came in fourth.
