Sent-off favourite, Yamanin Ours with Yutaka Take on board won the G3 Procyon Stakes at Kokura Racecourse on Sunday. Suleyman finished second, three lengths behind the winner, and Mario Road came home in third, 3/4 lengths behind Suleyman. The winning time was 1:42.7.

Yamanin Ours is a son of Just A Way out of Yamaninpapillonner, by Swept Overboard. In his debut race in August 2022, Yamanin Ours delivered a dominating performance, finishing 4.3 seconds ahead of the runner-up. Following that, he took breaks between races but maintained an undefeated record with four consecutive wins, earning a spot in open class. In this, his first graded stakes, he easily cleared a new hurdle.
