Sent-off favourite, A Shin Wand with Hideaki Miyuki on board won the G3 Kokura Nisai Stakes at Chukyo Racecourse on Sunday. Craspedia finished 3/4 lengths behind the winner and Arlington Row came home in third, a neck behind Craspedia. The winning time was 1:09.0.

A Shin Wand is a son of Discreet Cat out of Eishin Fairy, by Taiki Shuttle. This is his second consecutive victory since winning his Newcomers in August and marks his first graded stakes title.
