Brede Weg with Christophe Lemaire wins emphatically in the G2 Fuchu Himba Stakes

Brede Weg with Christophe Lemaire on board won the G2 Fuchu Himba Stakes at Tokyo Racecourse. Scintillation finished second one and a quarter lengths behind the winner and Masked Diva came home in third, a further half-length behind. The winning time was 1:44.7.
Brede Weg is a daughter of Lord Kanaloa out of Inner Urge by Deep Impact. After capturing last year's G1 Queen Elizabeth II Cup, she was sidelined for an extended period due to soundness issues. However, in her comeback race, she showcased the class of a G1 winner. With this victory, she has also secured a priority spot for the upcoming Queen Elizabeth II Cup.
