Lemon Pop wins his fifth major domestic title in the Nambu Hai

Lemon Pop with Ryusei Sakai on board won the Jpn1 Mile Championship Nambu Hai at Morioka Racecourse. Peptide Nile finished second three-quarter lengths behind the winner with Kitano Vision in third, a further five lengths behind. The winning time was 1:35.9. The third favourite, Tagano Beauty finished sixth.
Lemon Pop is a son of Lemon Drop Kid out of Unreachable by Giant's Causeway. He won back-to-back Jpn1 races following the Sakitama Hai. He retains the Nambu Hai title he earned in 2023. Jpn1 Nambu Hai. This is his fifth top level victory.
