On October 27th , jockey Ryusei Sakai reached a significant milestone in his young career, he claimed his 500th Japan Racing Association (JRA) win aboard Tagano Babylon in Race 4 at Tokyo Racecourse. Sakai became the 35th active jockey to achieve this mark, it includes five G1 victories and 17 graded stakes wins.

"I have fond memories of my first simulated race here at Tokyo Racecourse," Sakai reflected. "Next week, I'll be heading to the United States for the Breeders' Cup, so I'm determined to put in my best effort into each ride and continue improving my skills."
