Jockey Yutaka Take will receive the Medal with Yellow Ribbon at the 2024 Autumn Medal of Honour.
The Medal with Yellow Ribbon is awarded to those who have devoted themselves to agriculture, commerce and industry, and whose skills and achievements serve as a model for others. Yoshitomi Shibata also received the medal in the spring of 2022, Take becoming the second active JRA jockey to receive the medal.
Yutaka Take commented: "I am very honoured to receive the unique honour of the Yellow Ribbon Medal. I could not have achieved this award by myself and I believe it is the result of the efforts of many people involved in horse racing. I will continue to improve my riding skills and contribute to the development of horse racing to live up to this award.
