Sent-off favourite, Lemon Pop with Ryusei Sakai on board won the G1 Champions Cup at Chukyo Racecourse on Sunday and became the second horse in history to win the G1 Champions Cup back-to-back. Wilson Tesoro finished second, a nose behind the winner, and Dura Erede came home in third, one-and-a-half lengths behind Wilson Tesoro. The winning time was 1:50.1.
