With the conclusion of racing on December 28, the full schedule for the 2024 Japan Racing Association season came to a close, and the year's trainers rankings were finalized.

Yoshito Yahagi secured the top spot with 55 wins, narrowly beating Naosuke Sugai based on the number of second-place finishes. This marks Yahagi's fifth leading trainers' title and first in two years. While he claimed only one JRA-graded stakes win (Challenge Cup with Ravel), he also showcased dominance internationally and in regional races with Forever Young.

Naosuke Sugai, also with 55 wins, took second place, while Haruki Sugiyama finished third with 53 wins. The top 20 trainers in the JRA rankings are listed below.
