On December 28, the final day of racing for the 2024 Japan Racing Association season, the year's Leading Sire rankings were finalized.

The top spot went to Kizuna, marking his first-ever leading sire title. After finishing fourth for three consecutive years since 2021, he climbed to the top with 15 graded stakes wins, including Justin Milano's Satsuki Sho. His total earnings reached 4,251,235,000 JPY, an increase of approximately 1 billion JPY from last year. Notably, Kizuna became the first stallion in history to continue the lineage of sire-line champions, following his sire Deep Impact and grandsire Sunday Silence.

Second place went to Lord Kanaloa for the fifth consecutive year, while Epiphaneia claimed third. Last year's leader, Duramente, dropped to fourth.
