On the 26th of April, Trainer Kenichi Fujioka announced that the 2000m G1 Osaka Hai winner, Jack d'Or, is an intended runner in the G1 Yasuda Kinen at Tokyo Racecourse on June 4th. Yutaka Take will continue his partnership with the five-year-old colt in what will be his first start over a mile in his 14-start career.
Trainer Fujioka commented, "He's a son of Maurice, so I think a mile will suit him, and following the G1 victory, it's a good time to try that. Considering the time of the mile in his previous races, I think he'll do well and have every chance of winning. His future target will be the Tenno Sho (Autumn) later in the year."
