Graded Stakes Winner Justin withdrawn from JRA

Justin, who achieved three Graded stakes victories including the 2020 G3 Capella Stakes, has been withdrawn from the JRA's horse registry, as announced by the JRA on the 8th.

Justin is a son of Orfevre out of Synethesia, who is by Gone West.

He made his debut in October 2018 in a two-year-old maiden race at Tokyo Racecourse and secured his first win in an novice event at Niigata Racecourse that followed. After shifting his main focus to dirt racing in his three-year-old season, he won the Kadomatsu Stakes in January 2020, earning his way into the open class. In his first attempt at a Graded stakes race, he claimed victory in the JPN3 Tokyo Sprint in April.

In October, he defeated the 2019 JPN1 JBC Sprint champion Bulldog Boss by a neck to secure his second Graded stakes victory in the JPN 2 Tokyo Hai. In December, he also won the G3 Capella Stakes, conquering the dirt sprint stakes races in the central region. In the following year, 2021, he ventured into overseas dirt stakes races, transitioning from the Riyadh Dirt Sprint to the G1 Dubai Golden Shaheen. He showcased his versatility by performing well in dirt sprint races across different regions - central, regional, and international.

Furthermore, in the same year, he shifted his focus back to turf racing and participated in the G3 Hakodate Sprint Stakes and the G2 Centaur Stakes. This year, he embarked on his second overseas expedition from Saudi Arabia to Dubai. In his most recent start, the G3 Hokkaido Sprint Cup on the 1st of this month, he finished 6th. His overall record stands at 33 starts with 9 wins.
