Equinox remains at the top of the world

On June 9th, the International Federation of Horseracing Authorities (IFHA) released the global rankings based on the world's major races held from January 1st to June 4th, 2023.
The top-ranked horse in the rankings remains unchanged from the previous ranking, with Equinox remaining at the summit with 129. In second place, both Golden Sixty and Lucky Sweyness, who moved up from tied third place in the previous ranking, share the position at 125 pounds. Titleholder follows closely in fourth place with a 124 mark for his performance in the G2 Nikkei Sho.
Ace Impact, who completed four consecutive wins in the French Derby, is tied for fifth place at 123 pounds. Auguste Rodin, a son of Deep Impact, and winner of the Epsom Derby, shares eighth place with a rating of 122.
Among other Japanese horses, Ushba Tesoro also shares eighth place. Liberty Island, who achieved the fillies' double crown with a victory in the Oaks, is tied for 17th at 120 pounds. Do Deuce, Panthalassa, and Sol Oriens share the 120 mark.
