Snow Lightning, progeny of the first-season sire Ray de Oro, will unveil himself in the turf mile race at Hanshin Racecourse on the 18th.

Snow Lightning has a lineage that includes Admire Monarch, who won the 2008 G2 Nikkei Shinshun Hai and G3 Diamond Stakes. Trainer Matsushita commented, "The training has been going well, and he is quick out of the gate. He has a sharpness to his step and a pleasant temperament." Expectations are high for a victorious debut.
