Overwhelming odds-on favourite, Garza Blanca broke her maiden by a length and a half. Accompanied by a glowing reputation on her debut, the daughter of Kizuna is a half-sister Equinox.

Jockey Christophe Lemaire compared her to her older sibling "Her stride is smooth and sharp. She is forward going and I was able to position her where I liked throughout the race. Her sharpness reminds me of Equinox" he said with a smile. Trainer Kimura also commented "I am glad it all went as we planned. From now on, we see how she matures and decide where she goes next."
