Moryana with Norihiro Yokoyama on board won the G2 Shion Stakes at Nakayama Racecourse. The pair started from the rear and navigated their way through the pack in the last furlong. Ultimately, the duo collared Hip Hop Soul, who made an early move, in the shadow of the winning post. Shirankedo finished third and race favourite, Grand Bernadette, trailed home in a disappointing 10th.

Moryana is a daughter of Epiphaneia out of Garder le Sourire by Daiwa Major. This is her first graded stakes title and a first win since August 2022.
