Liberty Island was partnered by Yuga Kawada on Sunday to take the G1 Shuka Sho, the final leg of the fillies' Classics and became the seventh filly in JRA history to win the Triple Tiara. Masked Diva finished second, a length behind the winner and Harper came home in third, two-and-a-half lengths behind Masked Diva. The winning time was 2:01.1.

Liberty Island is a daughter of Duramente out of Yankee Rose, by All American. This is her fourth G1 win and there looks to be many more to come for her.
