Ownership group Sunday Thoroughbred Club has announced on the 20th that the Triple Tiara winner Liberty Island will run in the G1 Japan Cup and be ridden by Yuga Kawada. They also registered the star filly for the G1 Hong Kong Cup just in case she is forced to miss her intended G1 due to any incidents.

Liberty Island is currently out at pasture at Northern Farm Shigaraki in Shiga Prefecture. She will join the bulging Japan Cup field with Equinox and three-time G1 winner Titleholder.
