Son of 2010 Triple Tiara winner Apapane, Birdwatcher will debut on Saturday at Tokyo Racecourse. Regular rider Fukuda, who also rode his mother commented, "His face looks similar to his mother's but his character is like his sister's. His pedigree and condition suggest that he needs more time to be 100% but he is getting better after every piece of work." Christophe Lemaire will take the reins for his debut race.
