Tom Marquand and Hollie Doyle have arrived at Miho Training Center to receive their short-term license for the winter JRA campaign. Marquand scored 16 wins last year in Japan and is looking to win bigger titles as he returns this year. He will get a chance when he takes up the ride on Saliera in the G1 Queen Elizabeth 2 Cup.

Marquand commented, "I watched replays of her races and she looks like a nice one to ride. I hope I will be able to race as we planned." Doyle added, "He had that experience from last year and I know he can adapt to the different environment quickly."
