Sent off favourite, Shivers, a 2-year-old son of Maurice, made a winning debut at Kyoto Racecourse on Monday. Winning jockey Christophe Lemaire commented, "She responded quickly and accelerated with no time wasted." Trainer Tomomichi added, "He did not clock particularly good time during workouts but he was different in the race. The way he uses his body and his personality is similar to his dam, Vivlos."
