Champion German filly and 2011 Arc winner Danedream has died

Two-time G1 Grosser Preis von Baden and 2011 G1 Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe winner Danedream has died in August.
Danedream was a daughter of Lomitas out of Danedrop by Danehill. She won her first graded stakes in the G2 Italian Oaks and won her first G1 in the Grosser Preis von Berlin. She won the G1 Grosser Preis von Baden win and went on to claim the Arc in the same year. She became the first German horse to win the Arc in 36 years.
She ran in the G1 Japan Cup in 2011 but could only finish sixth behind Buena Vista. Her last race was in the G1 Grosser Preis von Baden and ended her racing career with the G1 title. Her career record is eight wins from 17 starts with five G1 titles. Danedream produced eight foals.
