Shadai Stallion Station has announced the stud fee of Equinox for the upcoming stud season. The fee will be 20,000,000 JPY, which is equivalent to 140,000 USD. This is the highest-priced stud fee for a first-season sire in Japanese racing history. To put into context, the stud fees for Deep Impact and Kitasan Black in their respective first seasons was 12,000,000 JPY. Equinox is already fully booked.

His retirement ceremony will be held on the 16th at Nakayama Racecourse and will be streamed on the JRA YouTube channel.
