The five-year-old T M Tokkyu won his first graded stakes title comfortably in the G3 Capella Stakes at Nakayama Racecourse on Sunday. Ridden by Akihide Tsumura, he finished three lengths ahead of Chase the Dream in second, whilst Meta Max came home in third, two lengths further back. The winning time was 1:09.3.

T M Tokkyu is a son of Lord Kanaloa out of Agnes Natural, by Sakura Bakushin O. Previously the winner of five races, including a Listed event, T M Tokkyu scored his first graded stakes title in beautiful style.
