Meisho Tabaru with Suguru Hamanaka on board won the G2 Kobe Shimbun Haiat Chukyo Racecourse. June Take finished second, a half-length behind the winner, and Shonan la Punta came home in third, two lengths behind June Take. The winning time was 2:11.8.

Meisho Tabaru is a son of Gold Ship out of Meisho Tsubakuro, by French Deputy. He bounced back from poor performances in the spring and won his first race of the fall season. This is his second graded stakes title adding to his G3 Mainichi Hai victory. The top three finishers also earned an entry spot in the G1 Kikuka Sho.
