Ascoli Piceno earned the title of unbeaten Champion Two Year Old Filly on Sunday when she secured her third consecutive win in the G1 Hanshin Juvenile Fillies under Hiroshi Kitamura.

For winning jockey Kitamura, it was a fourth G1 title, and his first since winning the G1 Kikuka Sho with Kitasan Black in 2015. He commented: "It took a long time to win another G1 but I was in good condition this year.
