Sent-off favourite, Ushba Tesoro delivered with Yuga Kawada on board as he won his second consecutive G1 Tokyo Daishoten at Oi Racecourse. Wilson Tesoro finished second a half-length behind the winner and Dura Erede came home in third a neck behind Wilson Tesoro. The winning time was 2:07.3.

Ushba Tesoro is a son of Orfevre out of Millefeui Attach, by King Kamehameha. This is his fourth G1 title in his career so far.
