This weekend's racing will feature three graded stakes at Tokyo and Kyoto Racecourses. Our original AI will guide you through the notable runners in the G2 Kyoto Kinen which will be run on Sunday.

Pradaria finished 14th in the G1 Arima Kinen last December. He was no match against world-class racehorses, but his barrier number also affected his race plan. Although the last run was disappointing, he won the G2 Kyoto Daishoten in 2023 and the G2 Aoba Sho in 2022. He also finished third in last year's Kyoto Kinen which should further support his potential at G2 level.

Bellagio Opera became an unbeaten G2 Spring Stakes winner before finishing fourth in the G1 Japanese Derby. After a long break, he won the G3 Challenge Cup last December and is expecting an even better run this time since this will be his second race after his break. He will be an interesting horse to follow in this race against higher-level horses.

Matenro Leo ran a frustrating race last time out in the G3 Nakayama Kimpai finishing seventh after getting stuck in a pack of horses in the homestretch. He finished second in the Kyoto Kinen last year and has been placed in the G1 Osaka Hai and Tenno Sho (Spring). His form suggests he's highly capable against top-level horses and he cannot be ignored in this race.
