This weekend's racing will feature four graded stakes in three racecourses across Japan. Our original AI will guide you through notable runners for the G1 February Stakes on Sunday at Tokyo Racecourse.

Igniter is the winner of the NAR Horse of the Year award and Triple Crown winner for the NAR Kanto Region. He won the Jpn1 JBC Sprint last time out and finished second behind Lemon Pop in the Jpn1 Nanbu Hai. Distance is key for this horse but his form and pedigree support his capability of running a mile at Tokyo Racecourse. He won the Newcomers on the same track and distance and his father Espoir City was a February Stakes winner. He could well be a JRA G1 winner in waiting.

Red le Zele will start in the February Stakes for the fourth year in a row. He finished second behind Lemon Pop last year but he looks ready for revenge. He finished third in the G3 Musashino Stakes last time out after a long break. He is eight years old with 26 starts and his age seems to not be affecting his performance. He could be an interesting runner to track.

Sekifu could be an underdog winner of this race. He finished second in the G3 Unicorn Stakes in 2022 at Tokyo Racecourse on the same mile course. He is not expected to receive big support from punters because of his last three runs but he is capable of running against graded stakes horses.
