Red le Zele arrived at East Stud in Urakawa, Hokkaido on the morning of February 4th. His stud fee is 500,000 JPY, payable on confirmation of conception or 800,000 JPY for live foal conditions. Red le Zele finished his racing career with a sixth-place finish in the February Stakes.

Bred by Shadai Farm and trained by recently retired trainer Takayuki Yasuda, Red le Zele is a son of Lord Kanaloa out of French Noir by French Deputy.

He had 27 career starts, nine wins, eight seconds and three thirds. In addition to the JBC Sprint in 2021, he also won three graded races, including the Negishi S in the same year and the Tokyo Hai in 2022, and finished second in the February S in 2023 and the Dubai Golden Shaheen in 2021 and 2022.
