Made favourite before the race, Sixpence obliged punters under Christophe Lemaire to remain unbeaten in the G2 Spring Stakes and will now eye a Classic campaign. Allegro Brillante finished three-and-a-half lengths behind the winner and Lucullan Feast came home in third a length behind Allegro Brilliante. The winning time was 1:49.4.

Sixpence is a son of Kizuna out of Finley'sluckycharm, by Twirling Candy. This is his third consecutive win in a row and the three-year-old colt also earned an entry spot in the G1 Satsuki Sho.
