Ramjet with Kosei Miura on board won the G3 Unicorn Stakes, a Japanese Derby trial, at Kyoto Racecourse. Satono Epic finished second, two-and-a-half lengths behind the winner, and Mikki Fight came home in third one-and-three-quarter lengths behind Satono Epic. The winning time was 1:58.6.

Ramjet is a son of Majestic Warrior out of Nefertiti, by Gold Allure. This is his first graded stakes title and the victory earned him a spot in the G1 Japanese Derby.
