June Take, with Yusuke Fujioka on board, won the G2 Kyoto Shimbun Hai at Kyoto Racecourse on Saturday. West Now finished second, a length behind the winner, and Veloce Era came home in third, a half-length behind West Now. The winning time was 2:11.2.

June Take is a son of Kizuna out of Admire Sabrina, by Symboli Kris S. This is his first graded stakes title and he joins his father who also won the Kyoto Shimbun Hai.
