Off Trail with Hironobu Tanabe on board won the G3 Radio Nikkei Sho at Fukushima Racecourse. Sirius Colt finished second, a head behind the winner, and Yamanin Ad Hoc came home in third one-and-a-quarter lengths behind Sirius Colt. Sent-off favourite, Satono Strasse finished a disappointing ninth. The winning time was 1:45.3.

Off Trail is a colt bred in England, by Darley resident Farhh out of Rose Trail, by Kingmanbo. He came back from a second-place finish in the Listed Shirayuri Stakes last time out and won a first graded stakes title on Sunday.
