Drop of Light with Miyuki Hideaki on board won the G3 CBC Sho at Chukyo Racecourse, handing his trainer, former jockey Yuichi Fukunaga, his first graded stakes winner in his new role. Suzu Khalom finished second, a neck behind the winner, and Grand Est came home in third 3/4 length behind Suzu Khalom. The winning time was 1:07.5.

Drop of Light is a daughter of Tosen Ra out of Precious Drop, by French Deputy. Sunday's victory, her first graded stakes title, marks a return to form after her 10th place finish in the Listed Paradise Stakes.
