Two horses from Hong Kong pre-registered for G1 Sprinters Stakes

On August 21, the Japan Racing Association announced the foreign horses pre-registered for the G1 Sprinters Stakes, scheduled to take place at Nakayama Racecourse on Sunday, September 29.
Among the registered horses are two from Hong Kong, Victor The Winner, who finished third in this year's G1 Takamatsunomiya Kinen, and Mugen, who recently won the G3 Premier Cup in Hong Kong. If either of these horses participates, it would mark the first time in six years that an international horse has competed in the race, since Lucky Bubbles in 2018.
