In Sunday's G2 Rose Stakes, second favourite Queen's Walk, ridden by jockey Yuga Kawada, claimed her second graded stakes victory, adding to her win in February's G3 Queen Cup. This G1 Shuka Sho Trial triumph secured her place in the upcoming G1 race. Queen's Walk settled mid-pack during the race, biding her time before making a decisive move on the outside in the home stretch to claim victory. Celesta finished second, while Sekitoba East took third, with the top three finishers earning priority entry to the Shuka Sho. The winning time was 1 minute 59.9 seconds, and the trifecta paid out 196,350 JPY. The overwhelming favourite at 1.7 odds, Regaleira launched a powerful late run from the rear but only managed to finish fifth.

After the race, Kawada reflected on the performance, "We approached the race with a plan to prioritize her rhythm, depending on how she jumped from the barrier. Though Sekitoba East had opened a lead, we kept our pace, staying within striking distance. We moved forward smoothly without pushing too hard, as this was a preparatory race for the main event. We didn't ask her for maximum effort, as the goal was to use this race to improve her condition. I feel she's strengthened over the summer, her core has become more solid, and that improved balance allowed her to run well. We're aiming to prepare her for the Shuka Sho, and I hope everyone looks forward to seeing her progress."
