Danon Caserta (2-year-old filly, by Saturnalia), a highly anticipated prospect who was purchased for 140 million JPY (excluding tax) at the 2022 Select Sale as a weanling, is set to make her debut in Saturday's Race 5 at Chukyo Racecourse (1600 meters on turf).

During her final track work on the turf course at the Ritto Training Center on the 22nd, Danon Caserta showed sharp acceleration, finishing three-and-a-half lengths ahead of Run Run Girl. She recorded a time of 78.8 seconds for 6 furlongs, with final splits of 33.6 seconds and 11.1 seconds. Trainer Ryo Terashima expressed confidence, stating, "She moved well even on a track that had seen some rain. She's a very responsive horse with an excellent feel, and she listens to instructions perfectly. I believe she can perform well right from her debut."
