Delphine Santiago, one of the jockeys participating in the World All-Star Jockeys event, was the first to arrive at Sapporo Racecourse. She took a lap around the track, getting a feel for both the dirt and turf surfaces.

"This is my first time in Japan, and I'm very impressed. The track is very well-maintained, and it's a fantastic facility," Santiago remarked. She debuted on the same hear with JRA jockey Christophe Lemaire, and mentioned that they are in contact. "My favourite Japanese horse is Equinox. I'd love to wear Silk Racing's colours one day. My strength is in giving energy to the horse, ensuring that both the horse and I give 200%," she added with a smile.
