Total Clarity with Yuichi Kitamura on board won the G3 Niigata Nisai Stakes at Niigata Racecourse on Sunday. Sent-off favourite, Caught Alliciant finished second, a half-length behind the winner, and Prokleia came home in third, three lengths behind Caught Alliciant. The winning time was 1:34.2.

Total Clarity is a son of Bago out of Bit Rate, by Special Week. He remains unbeaten after winning his Newcomers race at Kyoto Racecourse last time out.
