Ammothyella with Takeshi Yokoyama on board won the Jpn1 JBC Ladies' Classic at Saga Racecourse. Sent-off favourite Grand Bridge finished second four lengths behind the winner Tenka Jo came home in third a head behind Grand Bridge. The winning time was 1:59.9.

Ammothyella is a daughter of Bricks and Mortar out of Sand Queen by Gold Allure. She came back from the fourth-place finish in the Jpn3 Marine Cup and won her first Jpn1 title.
